Diplomat Hotel Sydney (formerly Bayswater Sydney Hotel) is located at 17 Bayswater Road, Potts Point, Sydney. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Kings Cross Station, offering quick access to Sydney’s CBD, Circular Quay, and major attractions via train, bus, or taxi. Ride-share services like Uber are also readily available.
Guaranteed Check-in: From 2:00 PM onwards, however earlier check-in may be available at a fee. Our front desk closes at 11:00 PM, so guests arriving later must notify us in advance to receive their entry details, however, a Manager on Duty is a phone call away in case of emergencies.
Check-out: By 10:00 AM.
We use a coded key system instead of traditional key cards. Each guest receives a unique door code, ensuring secure and easy access to their room.
The hotel does not offer on-site parking. However, we have an arrangement with Kings Cross, Elizabeth Bay Car Park (9A Elizabeth Bay Road, Elizabeth Bay NSW 2011), located approximately 350 metres from the hotel.
Simply park your vehicle there and keep the original parking ticket with you. When you arrive at the hotel, present the ticket at reception and we will provide a parking voucher for $35, valid for 24 hours.
Please note this voucher allows one entry and one exit only.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the hotel, although Service Animals will be considered with correct Certification and Registration.
